Overview
The Lab Test Products SteamWeave™ Diffuser ("SteamWeave") is LTP's next-generation diffuser material for grid plates, developed in-house to improve how steam moves through the press. It's the standard upgrade across our full line of grid plates.
Why we built it
Walk the floor of any garment-pressing operation and you'll find the same diffuser material in nearly every grid plate, from nearly every manufacturer. It's been the industry default for years — not because it's the best solution, but because no one built a better one.
We did. Over the past year, LTP worked directly with industry leaders to rethink the diffuser from the ground up — engineering quality and efficiency into the press before steam ever reaches the garment. SteamWeave is the result: not an incremental update to the same old material, but a genuinely different approach to steam delivery.
Every other diffuser on the market is solving the same problem the same way it's been solved for decades. SteamWeave solves it better.
