Insulating Covers

Here at Lab Test® we do custom work for all your pressing insulation and finishing needs. We make pressing machine insulating covers for the heads and bucks, as well as pressing machine hoses for both dry cleaning and laundry machines. Lab Test® Patented Insulating Covers contain the radiant heat normally lost to the environment. The pressing surface stays hotter resulting in drier steam which translates to better pressing and higher quality. Containing the heat also reduces the amount of energy spent

Head Covers

Lab Test patented insulating head and buck covers are custom made according to the machine make & model number.

Important Note: Exact make & model number of the pressing machine must be provided. Also indicate if the machine is left-handed or right-handed as well if it is a scissor, fastback, or offset machine.

Buck Covers

Safety is a major concern of all plant owners and management. By using Lab Test Insulating Head and Buck Covers, the risk of being burned is greatly reduced. By masking all exposed surfaces, the pressing machine is inherently safer.

Pressing Machine Hose Covers

Made with special high temperature Velcro & Insulated with a special high temperature felt, these can be used with or without our insulating head cover.

Dry Cleaning Machine

These insulators are identified by the khaki material they are made with. The springs from the grid plate hold them in place.

Hot Head Machine

These insulators are identified by the blue material they are made with. Since these machines do not use a grid plate, they are adhered to the head using a special high temperature adhesive. Note: The machine above also has a Lab Test unique pad installed which is specifically designed for hot head machines.
